Independent Suppressor Testing
SilenTrics is a consumer-funded, manufacturer-funding-free suppressor testing, review, and acoustic data platform — built on laboratory-grade measurement hardware and published methodology that exceeds military standards.
What We Do
01 //
Every suppressor is tested on our own equipment, with our own methodology, funded entirely by subscribers. No manufacturer sponsorships. No paid placements. No conflicts.
02 //
Our acoustic measurement system captures raw, unfiltered pressure waveforms at 2 MS/s — double the published PEW Science standard and more than 10× the MIL-STD-1474E minimum.
03 //
Our test protocol, mic positions, hardware stack, and analysis pipeline are fully documented and publicly available. You know exactly what you're looking at and why it matters.
04 //
Detailed acoustic reviews with multi-position pressure waveform data, hearing damage analysis, use-case scoring across hunting, recreation, and tactical applications, and suppressor rankings.
05 //
Full access to the SilenTrics review database, comparison tools, and suppressor rankings through our native mobile app — built for the way shooters actually research gear.
06 //
Deep-dive suppressor science, hardware reviews, industry news, and acoustic data breakdowns. Where suppressor meets technology.
About SilenTrics
SilenTrics was founded on a straightforward premise: the suppressor industry deserves the same rigorous, independent testing that exists in other performance-critical markets. Consumer-grade reviews and manufacturer-funded data aren't enough.
Our physical testing laboratory uses HBK measurement-grade hardware — the same class of instrumentation used in military and defense acoustic research — to capture data that is traceable, reproducible, and meaningful.
Everything we publish is funded by our members. That's not a marketing claim — it's a structural commitment that cannot be changed without destroying what SilenTrics is.
